We’ve got a new Woodland Working Group made up of enthusiastic volunteers. The group have had some training in woodland management and they will help us with our woodland planting work taking on responsibility for around six woodland sites. With the assistance of Cumbria Woodlands and the National Trust they will be devising planting and maintenance plans for each site then order their chosen trees.
With last autumn / winters juniper planting having been successful and popular we hope there’ll be lots of you wanting to get involved when we come to planting this year! Get in touch to register an interest.
